How to Deal with Stress

Stressed Out!!!!!

I know I am not the only one in the world that gets super stressed. Especially with the end of the year coming up soon. For me personally, I happen to care about my grades, so finals get to my head.
The first step to dealing with stress for me is prayer. When I get on a devotional schedule, I find myself much happier with what is going on, which also calms me down a little bit. Also, I know God is always going to be there for me when I am stressed out. In the bible, it says Jesus was sweating blood. This usually happens if you are under extreme stress. So know that Jesus was under stress too. He may be perfect, but he knows how you feel. So, tell him. Let in all out. He is always there to listen. Sometimes, it feels good just to talk about it, and God is definitely the person to talk about it with.
Second, try yoga. Don't laugh at me saying this, but it really helps. It may not work for everyone, but I swear it works for me. It helps to calm my nerves and relax my body, which relieve my stress. I try to do it every nigh, and every morning before I go to school. I mean come on, it's worth a shot, right?
Lastly, remember what's really important. As long as you try your best in whatever you do, good will come out of whatever happens. If you look for the positive things in situations, it completely changes your mood, and how you feel about everything.
So, pray, try a calming activity like yoga, and be positive and try your best.

You are Beautiful

You are Beautiful

Don't you dare ever tell yourself you are not pretty, or not good enough, or stupid, or fat, or nerdy, or ANYTHING of that nature. God made you perfect just the way you are. When you say these things about yourself, it hurts God. it is like giving him a slap in the face.
"God, you made me wrong."
"I made you perfect."
"Why do I always mess up then?"
"You are human."
You see, we get down on ourselves when we mess up. The thing is, we are human. We are going to mess up time and time again. But you see, it's perfectly okay because God is always there to forgive us if we just ask for it. We can never be perfect. So, next time you mess up, don't beat yourself up about it. Stay positive and try harder next time.
Also, don't let anyone being hateful eat at your heart. Again, God made you exactly how he wanted you to be, so don't think any differently.
"You are perfect in my sight."
"How?"
"You are perfect, because I made you."
God made you. Time out....... GOD MADE YOU! How can we not be happy about that. The fact that people hurt you sucks, but always, always, always remember that no matter what, God will love you just the way you are.
So, next time you look in the mirror, don't pick out all your flaws and imperfections. Next time, smile and think about how beautiful you are because we all are. We all are beautiful. So, smile.
